I'm a little behind on posting...the challenge is on week 11 this week! Almost done! I have been doing the challenges, but just haven't had the chance to get the posts up. Because, well, life. And four kids! :D I'm working on them, though!
Today, I have the master closet. I really like our closet. It's pretty big. Much better than the one in our last house that was probably the size of a coat closet.
So, here is the before...
Unorganized clothes, items waiting to be put on hangers...A bag of things for the donation pile, and a super cute baby (Spoiler alert...She gets to stay!) ;)
I decided I wanted my hangers to look a little more grown up, since we have grown up night stands now! :D
I found these at Costco. They were only $10 for each box!
All those plastic hangers got replaced! I actually ended up selling them all for $10, so I almost kinda got a box for free! :D I kept all the white ones for our J's closet makeover.
At this point, I hadn't reorganized everything yet.
So pretty!
All finished...
My husband prefers the wood hangers for his clothes, so we have been slowly collecting those. I found a pretty good deal on Amazon, so I was able to switch all his hangers over, too. We got some at IKEA once, and he is NOT a fan! Haha
In case you haven't noticed by now, I really do love having everything organized. I love the look of all the matching hangers.
For my shoes, I got large plastic bins. I didn't want to get the smaller ones because I didn't want to have so many. I am still planning on getting the smaller ones for my heels.
In the large ones I have one for flats, flip flops, boots, and
Next week, the kids closet is being tackled!

14 Week Home Organization Challenge - Week 6 - Master Bedrrom
Hey!!
Here we are...on to the Master bedroom. I have to say, as much as I love our room, it is the least decorated in our house. I feel like it is really neglected in this department. I am trying to improve it, though.
So this is the view as you look into the room from the door. On the left is the bathroom and closet, but you'll see that later ;) This is my dresser. Most of the time it is nice and clean, but sometimes (a lot), it looks like this. When I am putting things away, I tend to drop things off on my dresser and it takes a while for them to get put away.
And then it looks like this. Just in time for a cleaning and organizing challenge! :D Please ignore the basket of laundry waiting to be folded and put away...that's another day! Just focus on the cute baby, okay?? :D
Around the corner on the other side of the room is my husband's dresser...
And our bed...I got this duvet cover at IKEA. They were only supposed to be on our bed during December for Christmas because my husband likes our other one better. It's March now. Oops! Haha
I started by folding and putting away that laundry. Then I was able to start clearing off the tops of the dresser, giving it all a good dusting, and changing the duvet. I rearranged the top of my dresser, and moved my jewelry box to the other side. It looks much cleaner when you walk in now.
I moved the letters off the headboard and put them on our nightstands. I love them much better there! And I got a new full length mirror. :)
My husband's dresser got a facelift, too.
I have to brag on my husband for just a minute. He's pretty amazing. He made the headboard for our bed as one of his first big woodworking projects.
And then he made these...matching nightstands. We're grownups now! Haha This is the first time we have had two nightstands that are actually nightstands. And they match! :D
I'm really happy with how our room turned out. It's still a work in progress, but it's getting there!
And my super secret organizing (?) tip... I keep my pjs folded up behind my pillow. I will wear them two nights in a row. This keeps them off the floor, and I don't have to put them back in the drawer. You can't even tell they're there!
Next up is the Master Closet!

Menu Plan Monday - March 21
Good morning! Happy Spring!
I don't believe it's actually Spring yet. I know yesterday was 'officially' the first day, but we got snow flurries. Not cool.
It's Spring Break here for the kiddos. We'll be out of town a couple days this week, so my menu is going to look a little different. I won't be listing out each day. It's also Easter this weekend! We will be home by then, and having dinner with some good friends.
So here we go...
Our dinners will include:
Breakfast - waffles or pancakes, eggs, toast
Greek Chicken Pita Pockets (21 Day Fix recipe!)
Pizza
Easter dinner - Ham, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, deviled eggs, and I will be making Homemade Creamed Corn It was a big hit at Thanksgiving, so I was asked to make it again! :)
We'll also be eating some fast food on the road, and something delicious at my in-law's :D
If you head over to Menu Plan Monday that I link up with, you will find full menu ideas that others have submitted!
You can also follow me on Facebook and Instagram to see what fun places we might stop at on our journey :)
I also have most of my recipes saved on Pinterest
With all the craziness that will be happening today with packing and writing a paper and finishing up another assignment, this guy will be with me all day!!
See you soon!
