One more time...

I have had such a hard time trying to keep up posting over the last year. Being pregnant really kicked my butt. I was exhausted. We also didn't have much going on, so there wasn't much to blog about. Now that my little guy is two months old, we are getting back into a new routine, and I am able to have a little more time. A little. I miss being able to share my food and crafts. It kept me creative!

There are many things I am looking forward to blogging about in the near future. They include:
       * the burlap table runners I made!
       * all the random things I have made to coordinate
       * my spring/summer wreath
       * our house redecoration
       * my new scrap booking project
       * my new fitness routine
       * and the baby, of course!

These are just a few of the things I am looking forward to sharing! I hope you will stay tuned, check back often, and help me make sure I don't get behind again! I think since I wrote it down to share with the public, it may keep me a little more motivated! Haha.

For now, though, I must go finish giving baths for bed!

Here is a little peek at what it's been like here lately! I can't wait for the spring!

Bento lunches! | Valentine's week

             I love the idea of a bean to lunch. I've made a couple in the past, but they weren't that awesome because I didn't have proper compartments for everything. I was recently browsing in Pinterest, and became reminded of the bento lunch box. I went on Amazon to try and find a good one for Jake. I didn't like that I couldn't see how big they were. Then, one review I read mentioned getting the same one at Walmart. Why had I never thought of this option?? It just so happened that grocery shopping (at Walmart) was on my list of things to do that day. I was instanly excited to go to walmart (this doesn't happen often, especially on a Saturday!)

           As soon as I got in the store, I made a beeline for the kitchen aisles. There were so many options! This is not something I was prepared for!  I wanted them all! I settled in an expandable one that comes with a little container for dressings. It was labeled 'for salads' but it definitely can work for anything.

           Today was my first real attempt at a bento launch. We went out to lunch yesterday, and I had some leftover BBQ chicken. Who doesn't like cold BBQ chicken??  I added carrots (cut into a heart shape for Valentines day!) and some fries and applesauce. Oh and a chocolate heart candy for dessert. I hope he likes it!

Do you have any good bento lunch ideas??  I would love to see them! Feel free to share them onager on my Facebook page!

Julep nail polish review

          I have been receiving products from julep for almost two years now. I absolutely love everything I have gotten. Every time I think I should cancel because I don't need anymore, they send something else to keep me hooked. This month's box included a matte black nail polish, a deep red, a glittery green, and a glow in the dark! I will be adding those products to review soon.

        For now, I want to share about a glitter nail polish that I instantly fell in love with. It is called Julia. Looking at the bottle, it appears really gold and glittery. Once you put it on, the purple color shows through, as well as the glitter.  What I love most about the glitter is that is is not the big chunky glitter pieces that will get caught on everything and be a pain to get off. It gives you the look of glitter without the feel of a glitter nail polish. And- the best part is- it comes off just like a regular nail polish!

  I have a few different colors of Julep's nail polish, and I love them all! I can't wait to share more!

If you want to sign up to get your own box of goodies every month, just follow this link:
